Tennis and the park

So I've decided all days off should be like today. I picked Carin up at noon and we went downtown and got a couple things done. Then we went to Walmart and Carin picked up a tennis racket & some balls, then we went hunting for a free court. One with a practice board of course because she had never played before. We finally settled on the one by the arena..which only had one net set up, and had broken glass all over the rest of the court. That really bugged me because kids in Terrace complain that there's nothing to do here, then they go vandalize the things that there ARE to do. Anyways, we were at the courts for about an hour. To begin with we kept hitting our balls over the fence, but there was definately some improvement made today. Next time (Friday), we'll give the actual game a shot. I'm so excited, by the end of the summer we're going to be Sirena and Venus Williams lol
After tennis we drove down to Copperside and picked up some fruit bars, then we layed a blanket on the grass at Library Park and just talked for a good hour and a half. And soaked up the sun of course. Long girl talks are the best, especially when they involve very important future planning lol Carin's the best so we had a good time.

Nooowww I'd like to bring attention to two new people on my "Links" list. Justin and Carin are new blog members. Embrace them with your loving views and comments!
